New Cont. Ext. price

I live in Oregon and was wondering what others charge for new cont. ext. pait jobs. Is $1 to $1.5 the going rate for a standard paint job.

I'm not sure, but i know my old boss was getting $1.50 for one coating. That just seems high to me. The contractor that is building next to my house says he pays, one dollar i foot ext. and 2 dollars a foot int. But who knows with "Tony Balone" (that's what i call him). I have been charging 1 dollar a foot for some ext. but i think i should raise it a little, i just wanted to see what you were getting for them. Also how do you charge differant for a two story as apposed to a single story that is the same sq. ft.? Any input will help thanks.
