Need Advice On New Venture
We are a very successful res repaint Company that has an in with a custom new home builder. He has asked us to put together a pricing schedule. I would like to use $3.25 SQFT as a base plus whatever add-ons that we may encounter. Does anyone have any advice prior to giving our pricing. Many of our extras are based on lineal ft/ sq ft at $30 hr (a good rate here in the rust belt)

Re: Need Advice On New Venture
Builders typically don't like to hear that your going to charge per hour. They want to hear what your going to charge for each floor sq foot. Got me, because I have never painted the floor of a new house. One 100x100 room or 10- 10x10 rooms- I think that there is a big difference.
