Metal Railing Paint
Next week I'm painting a metal railing (as part of a larger job) that has a really smooth finish, which just has a little rust at one of the welds. What's the best way to get a decent looking finish on the railing? Scuff the railing with some sandpaper/scotchbrite pad and use a can of spraypaint? I will be painting the metal garage door with some semi-gloss latex paint, but I don't have a sprayer, so it would need to be brushed and rolled.
