Metal Fence
Going to bid on painting metal fence around a gated community. 500 ' long and 6 ft high. What is a good paint to use and roller. Should I bid by the LF.
Thanks, |

Re: Metal Fence
Is it new metal or previously painted metal?

Re: Metal Fence
Most acrylic coatings will adhere directly to cleaned galvinized metal.
SW has a product called Fast Clad DTM that you only have to apply one coat and can be sprayed or rolled

Re: Metal Fence
I am assuming it is a "chain link" fence??
While bidding... treat the fence as a "solid" surface and bid by your sq ft production rate... Use 3/4 - 1" nap I would use an Oil paint for this application.... Example: Benjamin Moore's DTM M24-M26 or M22 ... Or Impervex - Oil |
