Matching Pella Brown Window Trim. Any paint brands have a color match on file?

I am trying to paint some trim boards to match some brown pella windows.

I tried to have a color match done on the machine. I brought over a small peice of trim, however the color didnt come out right.

Is there any brand that makes colors to match the Pella window colors?

Hmmm...who did you try?
My favorite Ben Moore dealer has all the Anderson Window color formulas on file...not sure about Pella
I'd call your local BM dealer though

I don't think any carry a formula for it, it will have to be matched and some places do it better then others. Sometime if its close it looks better then you think when the job is done.

Makes me wish I still had Duron. You call their color department and they'd have a match for just about anything you could think of. P&L doesn't even have matches for some of their own old colors when I call them.

SW has the formulas. There paint is on the windows from the factory. Granted not the same paint that you would use. They have formulas. Tell the store to look on SOURCE, under the marketing tab, click on national specifications and look for pella windows. All colors are there. I can send you a formula if your SW store can't help you.

If my paint store couldnt match Pella Brown then I would find a new paint store. The paint stores I deal with have all of the bigger names windows and siding colors on file, and if I come across one that they dont yet have then they make a file once they match it for me.

Absolutely...I managed a paint store for 14 years and we could match anything, maybe not in five minutes, but we could match it. Most stores just scan a sample in a computer, but if that doesn't work, they have to be able to tweak it to make it perfect.
