Manhours To Paint Book Shelfes


Never have had to paint bookshelfes...how many manhours would you allocated to prime and paint 2 coats a bookshelf that is 6 ft tall and 21 ft. long??Thanks all.

Id have to ask, spray? Furniture grade? Putty, caulk to do? Pulling out an HVLP or Cupgun to fine finish with putty and caulk is lots more than a simple squirt job.

i will be brush and rolling them...i don;t know how many shelves yet since they have not been made yet. thanks for the help

I did a basic 22 ft. X 10 ft. with entertainment center in the middle. Lots of shelves as they were for collector plate display.

One coat per day for semi-crude stuff.

Brush and roll, brave. Two coats plus primer, no putty/caulk I would price about 12-16 hours.
