Re: Magnetic Signage

you need to be carefull with magnetic signs. here in az. with the heat they will fuse to the panel you have them on in a weeks time & then cant be removed without tearing up the sign. learned this the hard way!! got them from sign-a-rama sfter this happened they told me you have to take them off every couple days ,clean them then put them back on.

To take away the part time look or help dispel the "cheap look" of magnetic signs I've had the back ground color painted to match my truck/van so that it's hard to tell that they are peel-off.

Re: Magnetic Signage

You can always just put vinyl lettering on if you don't want to deal with the magnet signs

Re: Magnetic Signage

"One good thing about the all-mags is that if you do any subcontracting, they're easily removed.
I forgot to take mine off once and the GC reamed me a new one for showing up on the job site with my company logo on my truck.
Other then that,if you keep the backs clean, they don't blow off.
Be careful in colder climates because they may become brittle and rip easily."

Why would a GC ream you for having lettering on your vehicle. All of my vehicles are vinyl and can't come off. Plus don't all GC's use subs so they expect other people to be on the site. Obviously GC's don't paint themselves! How does this work where your at?
