now you say you're a small company,
can you handle the job?
How long have you been around?
How have you bid jobs before?

Figure out your sq ft rate and present the numbers.

commercial work is very competitive
keep in mind there will be a lot of guys stepping on your toes

price

You will not get any fixed numbers from guys on this site. The advice will be to know your overhead and figure out how many manhours it will take and how much you need to make and of course materials.

In case someone has specific pricing numbers to share, you will have to give A LOT more info. about the nature of the job. New, redo, one coat, two coat, prime, material types, substrates being painted, trim, etc.

I have never done commercial work, so I cannot help you at all. If I were in your shoes as a small company doing this, I would consider partnering up for this project especially if you can find someone with commercial experience.

Soccerman.

Sorry, but I deleted your account. I thought you were a bot because you signed up for two accounts back to back and then didn't fill in your contracting trade correctly. You just listed "internet" instead of "painting". Looked just like what a bot would do. Sorry about that.

Anyways, please sign up for a new account if you wish to post again. Sorry for the confusion.

If you have any issues feel free to contact me using: http://www.contractortalk.com/sendmessage.php

Thanks.

First try figuring out how to live without being paid for 90 days or not at all.

There is a LOT more paper work to commercial work. Beware.
