I live in Los Angeles County and Home Depot paints homes here too.

Re: Home Depot Starts Painting

People are weird...A lot of people feel more comfortable dealing with a conglomerate as opposed to dealing with someone where a relationship most likely will develop. They like the security of the big company that will take care of them. They bury their heads so far in the sand and refuse to believe anything else.

My lovely sister just paid $60,000+ to Home Depot to have a small extension and new cabinets appliances etc. She did nothing but complain that the workers would have screwed up 5000 things if she was not there! They didn't know what they were doing and there was no supervision?

Then she invited them all to her open house party and wined and dined them. My Dad who I grew up working with visited and said it was the shytiest job he had ever seen. Of course he said nothing and watched as she proudly displayed her new work??? The dumbing of America
