Help With Painting MDF Shiplap Walls

I took on a job that I just cannot figure out the best way to go about painting. It's 2 bathrooms, 2 walls of shiplap. Which in case you haven't seen is basically 5.5" primed MDF up the entire wall with 1/8" gaps in between.

I let her know ahead of time that if I sprayed it would increase cost because of all the taping and masking. (Occupied home)

And she said it doesn't have to be perfectly smooth. But we all know what she says before and after can vary.

So....It's too much to brush obviously. I briefly thought about pre-spraying but all the nail holes will need sanding anyways and won't brush to match.

My experience with foam rollers is they can get alot of air in them. What would you guys do????

Thanks so much in advance.
