Exclamation Help onceder siding stain job

I am new to the site and I have already found valuable information...Awsome. I am a college student and I own a handyman business. I have a client that would like to have his house stained.
It is a Ceder sided house, I do not have the measurments at this time.
I have stained and painted before and I can usually tell how long it will take and get a good quote made up. This is different though. I have not done a job on this high of a scale before.
What I need help with is developing a quote. Is there a formula that you would use for square footage for staining?
Also, should I make the small investment on getting a spray gun?

I would appreciate any help on pricing you can give me. I am in northern minnesota in a farely large town.

Thank You, MC Handyman

I hear told that Minnesota has a lot of Swedish influence, do you eat the lutefisk(sp) fish much?

It is ceder lath siding, three years old, solid condition. It is bleached on two sides from sun exposure.

That is a heck of a story to ask what price per sq. ft.

Read all the other price per foot threads, I am thinking none of them got answered.
