Have You Guys Seen/used This Yet?

Saw this advertised here on Contractor Talk, looks pretty interesting for anyone doing remodel design work or selling paint jobs directly to customers (if it actually works).

To put it in perspective, the Ben Moore portable color matcher thingie is a bit higher price-wise (IIRC, around 300)

So I'd say it's probably not out of line for what it does

That's cheap. I'd figure it's a piece of junk of course. The spectrometer on my color machine costs $5000 by itself. It is also a piece of junk unfortunately. MatchRite is a terrible color company.

I don't think that blue bobble goes well with that floor. I don't think what a machine says will be what my clients decide to go with. I think I could of found the closest color to that flower in my SW deck pretty fast and easily on my own. I'll wait until there's at least 10 testimonials from paint contractors that say "Wow this is amazing I was able to charge $75 an hour for color consultations and this device made me the contractor of choice for the job, it worked well, was easy to use, my client was so thrilled they even bought me a porsche!" Until then I'll keep doin' what I do.
