Graco Rechargeable Airless Sprayer

Graco rechargeable airless sprayer. had one at my local sw store, looks pretty cool if you only had one or two doors to spray. It holds a quart and looks like a cup gun and rechargeable drill. anyone got one?

Re: Graco Rechargeable Airless Sprayer

I WAS AT sw today and they had the brochure on the counter for this thing. I flipped through it and was wondering if any one has any reports on it. I couldn't tell if it was gonna be a good unit or a gimmick but from the pics it looked pretty solid. i guess for small or fast projects it beats the hell outta setting up and breaking down.
What was the price on the unit

Re: Graco Rechargeable Airless Sprayer

I just got my SW contractors sale brochure today. It does look pretty cool. Graco makes pretty good stuff s I'm sure it works.

I would like to give this thing a chance to circulate for a while and get some feedback from the field.

It takes Lithium Ion Batteries which is a definite plus. Lithium batteries don't weaken thus slowing the machine causing sluggish operation, they operate at full power and stop when depleted.

Let me know how it works.

Re: Graco Rechargeable Airless Sprayer

I finally got to use my new sprayer today.

It works great for small jobs, i primed up 4 doors with SW adhesion primmer.

No thinning, very good spray pattern with the 411 tip and quick to clean up.

Re: Graco Rechargeable Airless Sprayer

Will work well for touch ups maybe, but as hard as I have tried I can't justify buying one. <-- Heresy considering how much I love tools.

Re: Graco Rechargeable Airless Sprayer

Oh this thing is just cool, I got the brochure in the mail and I've got to have one. It would be ideal for the customers who want their patio furniture painted, wrought iron doors painted, a small house with less than 10 shutters etc. I'm sure you could find lots of small paint jobs for this thing and make a ton of money off of it. The batteries are a plus, I just wonder how easy it is to clean up. I guess you could spray paint furniture of all sorts and shoot poly through it too, I'm getting one.

Re: Graco Rechargeable Airless Sprayer

clean up is easy much faster than a normal airless because no hose.

it will spray a gallon per battery

Re: Graco Rechargeable Airless Sprayer

It is a nice unit and works wonderfully but we have come across one downside of it. We have been told not to spray anything with solvents stronger than mineral spirits due to the damage on the packings.
