Graco Endurance Pump

I recently bought a new Mark V for drywall texture and wall painting. Graco has an Endurance Pump program going on so my question is how long will the seals and internals last if I decide to buy the extra pump? Of course my S.W. rep said it's a great deal if my pump dies but what if it takes several years before I need a new pump? Will the new pump that's been sitting on a shelf be still good? Thanks for your help, Brock

Re: Graco Endurance Pump

As far as the packings life, there is no shelf life, the leathers probably could break down over many years I suppose, if that happens you just buy a packing kit. The endurance program is basically like a backup insurance program. Its there if the pump goes down for some reason and you have this backup nearby to slap in and continue the job while you bring in the damaged one in to have fixed. I wouldnt buy it for the reason of having parts later. If that's what you want, just buy a packing kit. The chances you will need a rod, sleeve or outlet valve aren't real common.

Gotcha, thank you.
