Going Rate For............

Need some help everyone..... whats would be a good rate for hanging blueboard?.... there is a going rate per board.....

I got to do 2 rooms.... one 11ft x 12ft nice and square.. no ceiling lights
or cutouts..... next is a bathroom about 8ft x by 8ft lots of angles and a ceiling fan cut out. but on 3rd floor of house.
Now the rest..... just hang and skim and skim and sand to a perfect smooth finish. it's will be over horse hair plaster. (long screws)
With out materials and priming and painting... they are already bid (by me)
It's off of Commonwealth Ave in Newton Ma. (boston) ritzy area.

I'm guessing $700-$800 am I in the ball park? or too high?
P.S I'm 45 minutes away... without traffic.
Need to know by wednesday morning!
thax in advance!

Re: Going Rate For............

i've done alot of rock, depends on your area... some go square, some go board... 18-22 a board works for me depending on how smooth they want it. That isn't including mats, but does include hang/finish.

Oh ya, just in case your impaired, one board is 32 square.

Take a look over at the drywall page. Benn is right in line with most of them, except for the guy that got $72 a board!

Happy painting, Paul
