Give Me A Ballpark Figure On The Following..
So today I'm out cruising around Louisville to drum up some business. I go into a GC's office basically on a cold call but I'm looking for specific information on an upcoming job in the area. The guy says they don't have that info but tells me to go look at another job immediately.
Long story short, this job turned out to be a somewhat rusted stairwell. It is about six stories worth of stairs. Each run has thirteen individual treads that have to be grinded, primed and two finish coats. It's basically straight up in the air on the side of a building with six landings, it's also four ibeams, one on each corner, along with some cross members that make up the framing of the stairwell. I'm buying the material and hoping to spray the majority of it. The underneath part of the treads will be hard to get to, probably using an extension ladder very tediously. I'm thinking about 11-13 grand. Any ballpark figures out there. Also, I don't need a lift, I can reach the work off of the landings and extension ladders. |
