get the green out of the deck

I'm working on a small pressure treated deck that was stained a few years back,I powerwashed it and got alot of the darkness out but there is alot of green in the wood I used simply green the first time then tried the bleach still didn't take the green out next I tried cabot wood brightner and that didn't touch it.I'm putting semi trans stain back on it any suggestion on getting the green out or will the stain hide any of this

You might need to try a commercial strength sodium hydroxide stripper....brightener must be used once again after using the stripper.

I'm thinking Cuprinol. It used to be popular on decks, real high copper load. Anybody else remember this stuff? We used it on docks and pilings.

I used that stuff on our screened porch at the lake about 3 years ago. Came from my brother-in-law, don't know where he got it, probably some dusty little hardware store in the middle of nowhere Nebraska.

I just picked up 6 dusty gallon from a guys basement last week, anyone interested? For a time that stuff was the best around. I can remember being about 10 years old and putting it on an old wood bateau.

If a Jomax/Bleach/H2O mix, (or a similar bleach mix), or the Cabot PS Cleaner doesn't get it, it's in there
The best thing is to use Cabot's "Natural" oil stain
It says it's clear but it's not really
A bit of gold/brown helps blend the green in with the rest

Cuprinol is still around, I just PUed some last week
I wasn't impressed
...though it was water based, maybe they still have some good stuff
