The General said NO

We recently bid an full interior residential paint job. Master bed/bath, 2 bdr, den, living, dining, kitchen and wash room. Total 9 rooms plus halls & ceilings, 3 colors, trim and doors. Ave. height 10ft. We originally bid based on surface sq ft. But the GC said that he has only seen painters bid on floor sq ft and was used to seeing the bid around $1.10-1.50/ sq ft. House stamp is 2500 sq ft.

I am not sure what to think. The change would drop our price about 2 grand.
