Yup, starting to sound like a problem with the rolling. If you're not going back and rolling it all one way you can have a lot of trouble. Stairwells and real tall walls always get two guys rolling top to bottom, one on a long pole getting the top, one on a short pole getting the bottom and rolling it together. Perfect sheen is not always easy on stuff like that....this is a pic I'm proud of because of that. It's just white walls, but satin, and sweeeeeet.

I've been painting quite awhile and never thought of that. I do roll up and down. After I get a good sized section done I normally Roll up and down move over overlap roller by 1/2 and do that down the wall. Going from top to bottom makes since. I have used sherfab rollers. Thanks for the info. Makes sense. Never really thought of it that way. Thats why i love this site. Everyone can always learn new things. THanks for the info.
