I think my question is valid when someone tells me I'm getting hosed by my paint supplier. I do get a decent discount, and I've never had to ask for it. However, if I'm getting hosed, why should I do business with them?

Don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to beat up or haggle with the sales guy. I haven't yet....but when I see and hear of people paying $10 less per gallon than me, I have to ask how I can do the same.
