Flat Over Satin
I have a friend who wants to flip a house quickly and cheaply. The interior looks to be eggshell or satin and he wants it painted flat to mimimize the flaws in the walls but doesn't want to prime it first. Will it stick or is he asking for trouble. Thanks for any responses.

Really it should be sanded first, and a cheaper paint won't stick as well A scuff sanding and a good paint it shouldn't be a problem

Re: Flat Over Satin
Yup, should have no problem if you sand/de-gloss the existing coating. Spot prime any areas you have to patch to ensure even porosity.
