fixing chipped corners

What is the best way to make chipped corners on walls nice and straight?

What you talkin bout Willis? You say your trade is painting,duh.....you should know this answer. Guess it depends on what kinda chip you are talking about. Small chip? Big chip? Chips with dip? Small chips i would use spackle, Large chips, i would you tape and mud.

Depends if you have textured or smooth walls. If smooth finish simply apply patching compound, allow to dry, lightly sand, spot prime the area patched and apply your topcoat. If the walls are textured walls the same but spot spray canned texture and knockdown prior to the priming and topcoat. Is this what you wanted to know?

That's what I do for smooth walls, but I still don't seem to get a nice 90 degree corner. It still always seems a little rough.
