Finishes For Stained Work ?

I'm looking for different input on what different guy's use. This project I'm working one has bead board ceilings, rough saw fir posts, fir doors and frames,and fir base boards and a bar. It's tight quarters can't spray and the walls will get a second coat of paint. My question is I'm going to brush on the finish using Zar poly satin, any thoughts or recomendations different product ?
I'm going to use Zar poly gloss for the top of the bar.
