Filling Nail Holes
I thought the finisher would fill the nail holes prior to the clear finish without being told. Was I mistaken, do they generally have to be told?

Re: Filling Nail Holes
Wow, hmm, seems like a no brainer. But in my experience, when it seems like its obvious, some one else finds a way to screw it up. Is this a new sub. or have they done work for you in the past?

Re: Filling Nail Holes
Gee I finish trim everyday and I deliver it to the home when I am done finishing it. The trim guys cut and install all the base and casing , doors. When they are done I go back and putty all holes. If you are good you should be able to get all the extra putty and oil off the trim that its not noticable. So it all dependes on how you do your trim. And how big a nail they use when installing the trim.
