Fascia question

How many of you paint exterior fascia from the roof? Had a passerby that turned out to be a painter visiting that freaked when he saw my guys doing thus.

I have and will when need to rather than use a lift or place ladder in an unsafe position such as on sloping ground. Mostly gables.

In general, no. But, it's another "tool in the box" to use at certain times. Not an everyday practice. Especially if you want a clean roof line.
