Farrow & Ball Oil

Just wondering if anybody here has used Farrow & Ball oil, and if so how was it right out of the can? Does it need to be thinned at all? Penetrol? Going on brand new cabinets probably, brushed.

Re: Farrow & Ball Oil

Can't say I've had the priveledge (sp) of using it but I recently popped in to a local store and shook hands with the clerks and got some brochures. I'd love to hear any experience people have had with these products as well.

Re: Farrow & Ball Oil

Right near where I live in Oakville there is a F&B Location. They have it all done up with their paint and paper. Its nice stuff. The patterns on the papers they make are hand rolled with the same paint they sell. I would like a chance to use it but I don't know If I will get to. Its insanely expensive. I don't have the brochure handy but some of the paint is about $130.00 a can. A double roll of paper is about $200.00+ a roll. That having been said from what I saw it's nice, but not that nice.

Re: Farrow & Ball Oil

My brochure indicates you have to buy a minimum of three rolls of the wall paper. So it starts at about 600$.

Re: Farrow & Ball Oil

Great stuff right out of the can.
Used the eggshell and high gloss oil.
Expensive but good paint.
