Expansion Joints

Just wondering if anybody had worked with Sonolastic 150.

I have used NP1 alot, but never the 150. We have been using the tools and it just wasn't looking good enough for quality control. So we started using the soap and water, and now the joints are looking perfect. But after reading the MSDS for the 150 it says in bold letters DO NOT use soapy water.

I know it says it affects adheasion, but I thought it was standard practice doing it with the soapy water.
