Estimating Exterior Window And Door Painting

How do we estimate painting exterior windows and doors - just need one coat, but caulking and hole plugging need to be done? Do we estimate by the window or by the frame (as in one double hung = one window or two?) Please help. thank you

it all depends where your at. If your in chickenbone beach its probably minimum wage .
If your on the main line the sky is the limit.
are the windows 60' up ?
overhead?
U.C.?
6/6 ? 9/9?
do you have a paint brush?
can you chew gum & walk all in the same time?
insured ?
Weekend worrior?
any people without papers working for you?
do you like to eat steak or ricenbeans for dinner?
There are a lot of issues to be considered here.
