Does Anyone Have Experience On "galvanize Coating"?

Hi Guys,

My GC wants to know if I do galvanized coating. We are mainly painting contractor/ building maintenance guys. I've never done such work. We need to coat two trellises for the hospital.

I would like to know if I could take this job with our painting experience (our guys have average over 15 years of experience in painting).

If you know anything about it please drop a line or two

Thanx

I don't know how big these things are. Can you take them and get them hot-dipped? Assuming not, sandblast and put 3 coats industrial expoxy, like SW TileClad. I know there's a hot-dip place in Baltimore. Don't know west coast. Hot spray zinc is way too complicated.

Electro painting or just covering galvanized? Either are fairly easy.. one requires a machine and a tad of practice and the other.. well, it's just DTM. If your talking about GALVANZING something, really that's either powder coat or Electroplate... both basically the same machine.
