I beat you. Last March I passed 1,000,000miles on my cc miles. Got elite status with the airline for it. Better seat choice, allways board in group 1, better service overall.

And, it is way more convenient than the constant hassle of filling out new credit ap's at suppliers. It seems the only businesses that fail more often than contractors are the contractors suppliers.

premier, OK, you can fly halfway to the moon. I'm perfectly happy with where I am, Sailfish Capital, biggest Seatrout, best bass fishing and if I do decide to travel, It damned sure won't be by commercial airlines. I'm a pilot and have lots of friends with planes, may buy another.

I'm actually located in Toronto George....I'm just starting out on my own....so I'm just trying to get a feel of the different payment options to offer my customers! By the way...I just want to thank you George...and all the other people on this site...you've all helped so much by providing so much info and straight talk (even political stuff!!!! lol).

Thanks again!

Re: Credit Cards

Just as it up to the individual to use CC's it's up to each of us to take them as well. I just think the way the world is heading, plastic in all transactions is going to be more in demand.

Re: Credit Cards

there should be a caveat to this whole thread...if you do service type work (jobs under $5000) or you do emergency work (sudden bill for $1000 to customer) take credit cards.

if you do only projects (renovations, additions, new homes) CC's are not nearly as important.

I want to say I remember being t old in either a llow grade or mid grade of school that someday money would be obsolete, and that people would make purchases with plastic.

I'll take the remaining 1% for now.....gotta start somewhere!!!! lol

Again....I really appreciate all the help and knowledge being shared by all of you......thanks again!
