Which Corona? Cortez, or Excalibur?
I've been using Excaliburs (er or ur? i forget) 100% chinex.
I love them, but I wanna test out the Cortez. Anyone here try both yet?
I'm also thinking about jumping up from the 2 1/2" to the 3"
Opinions? Will it help me work faster, or get a tired hand faster?

3 inch is great if you can handle it.
Especially on siding for brushing back. Great for stucco too. I like the excalibur cuz it's all paint and we can use it with our oil priming which we do quite a bit of.

Well i can not really say about the brushes, but i would definitly bump up the brush size to the 3. You will be able to move quicker getting more done.

Do you really use a 3" brush on siding? I've never heard of such a thing. 4" minimum. I mean, sheet...I'm using a 3 1/2" for interior cutting

I was thinking the same thing.
I use a 4 for interior cutting or a 3 1/2
What kind of 3 1/2 are you using Rich? I have seen cortez's in the
3 1/2's I keep saying next time i go into PPG i will grab one to add to my arsenal.

I'm not big on switching brushes (way I learned), therefore I use 3 1/2" Purdy Pro Extra Glides for just about everything interior, including sash, ballisters, etc.
I also use this brush for exterior trim. I very rarely bust out anything smaller than a 3 1/2 unless it's real tight or I need to grab my "tight spot" brush.

2.5 excalibur for interior wall work, 2.5" Vegas for interior trim work, and either a Purdy or Corona 3.5" semi-oval for exterior siding.
