Clearing Over A Decal

I have an acid stained floor that they put a pioneer seed decal on. The guy that put the decal on said to put two coats of clear over it. I am using an aliphatic urethane. I'm worried about lifting the sticker with the clear. I know they spray clear over decals on vehicles all the time. just wanted to get some opinions.
