Have some old classic solar roof panels. Heavy copper with embossed detail.
Will use oneas a raised panel in a bath door panel in My home. One side is painted black. Don't know if it's latex or oil. Thank's |

Re: Cleaning Paint From Copper
I'm sliding here as were not to help homeowners.
to tell oil from latex, rub with alcohol. latex will come off. If it's oil, welcome to aircraft stripper. Buy the good stuff from a commercial supplier plus the Tyvek suits, head masks, safety glasses, et al. The good stuff is really NASTY and WILL burn holes in YOU.

Teetor, the guy has 400 posts, and been here since '04. Why would you think he is a home owner?

Re: Cleaning Paint From Copper
It stands for "and others". If you ever see the words "et ux" it means "and wife". The terms are often seen in legal documents like property deeds and such.
