Cleaning Oxidized Paint On Aluminum

Hello All,
\ I have a small job that I would like to fit in before the end of the year. I have 3 small pair of aluminum shutters which I would like to paint in place. What can I clean the oxidized paint off with? I will be using SW all surface enamel latex.
Thanks for your opinions and time
