Carpet removal from walls
Bidding a commercial office and three walls have carpet on them from ceiling to floor. Once removed the (glue backing is left). What we plan, is to scrape as much glue off, skim coat, sand, prime then finish coat. Do any of you feel a specialty primer is needed before the skim coat? Or just skim & prime.
Thanks for your thoughts!

Have to agree with PWG, what type of glue is it? Really hard yellow looking stuff or black mushy stuff?

My thoughts are with the others, what did they use to stick it up there?

Hey guys, the glue backing is (hard yellow looking stuff) You can also see what looks like very narrow trowl lines in the glue.
Sorry Slick... No shag! But the exterior is a light pink. Building looks like the old Miami art deco stuff...
