Canvas Tarps
We put down plastic sheeting from the door to the bathroom we are working on every morning when we are on a job and pick it up every day at quiting time. Current house we are working on is huge and the amount of time and plastic it is taking everyday is getting out of hand.
I saw some 4' x 15' canvas which would be perfect for us for runners. Would be great for the dust and debris during demo and just the normal walking in and out, but worried about wet stuff soaking through.
Is there some sort of water proof canvas or a water proofer you can put on drop cloths?

You want butyl-backed drops.
And BTW, they're not tarps, they're drops.

Another tip, the amazon link was just so you know what to look for.
A local paint store will probably have them cheaper than $20 a pop, or work a deal and buy 10 at once for a discount.

Hey Mike, if you have an account at Kelly-Moore, 4x15 drops go on sale August 1-10. They're fairly bad drops, but cheap enough to be worth it, and butyl-backed. No bleed-thru.
Can I post that, or does that constitute advertising a service?

Sounds like a product to me, not a service. Besides, I think you're providing a service letting us all know about that. I'm willing to bet there is someone lurking and thinking about doing the same thing Mike is.

Picked up $150 worth of them this morning on the way to the job, set up took just about 10 minutes instead of the 35 it took yesterday. Really like the new look, it even looks way more professional. Never realized how cheesy the thin plastic looked compared to these nice canvas runners! Sweetness!

Even if it did come from PWG's brain

No, credit for that goes to Mike Zekich of Same & Simple Wallpaper Removal fame. I stole it from him.

Sounds cool at first, but I can't be having customers and crew stomping and wiping their feet all over my logo now.

Mike, my logos go face down on the floor. You think I want chuckleheads dripping paint all over them?
When we fold them up, they go outside-in, with the logo on the outside of the folded drop.
As an afterthought, I wish I would have done the logo in different colors for different sizes. IE black for 12'X15', red for 9'X12', green for 4'X15', etc. Make it easy to identify what to grab at the shop.

Have you considered iron-on labels?
https://conntext.ixwebhosting.com/TTform.html
10 bucks for 50 labels for one size. 50 bucks would give you a lifetime supply for replacement drops^^
Having your company name on them can't hurt either. I'd be impressed as heck to see someone dropping "custom" drops on my stuff for protection.
