Can't Read Post

Why can't I read the reply to my post per this email?:

netmouse,

Any Season has just replied to a thread you have subscribed to entitled - smoke restoration - what paint?

The topic can be found here:
(I had to remove start of URL as I cannot post urls !)

/showthread.php?t=39194&goto=newpost

If you have configured in your control panel to recieve immediate topic reply notifications, you may receive an email for each reply made to this topic. Otherwise, only 1 email is sent per board visit for each subscribed topic. This is to limit the amount of mail that is sent to your inbox.

Thanks,
Contractor Talk - Professional Construction and Remodeling Forum

Re: Can't Read Post

Not sure exactly what your question is - they don't put the actual response in the email, just a link to the thread where the response was posted. When you click on the link in the email they sent, it will take you to the thread. Scroll down and you should see the response.

If you're checking your email in one web browser window and looking at ct.com in another, the page displaying the thread might need to be refreshed before the response shows up.

Re: Can't Read Post

I looked for it and it was removed to the trash bin. It should more appropriately just been Locked and you would have been provided a link to the DIY site to ask your question.

Your question is a DIY question and this site is for contractors only, which is clearly stated when you signed up.
