Brand Of Caulk And Primer


sorry to keep posting but this site is the best lots of info. just would like to know what you all think of the zinsser primers and what you all use.also whats everyone choice of caulk (use M.A.B.myself). always good to no what others are using.

Zinsser has a decent selection of primers, but I choose whatever is right for the particular situation.

My 1st choice for caulk is Topgun 200, put out by Porter/Pittsburgh paints.

I like the whole Zinsser line of primers. Like PWG said, just pick and choose depending on application. For caulk, being a SW guy I usually use thier 1100A 55 year caulk.

Being a S/W customer my vote for caulk is 1100A, I tried the SherMax but during high humidity ii has a tendancy to not dry well, remaining sticky.
Primers are selected according to useage.
