BM charge card

Was talking to a Ben Moore retailer today and thought I'd share what he told me...

There's a new charge system coming out--I dont quite know when, but it's soon--

you apply just like before but now you carry around a credit card....the best part of all....get this.....

60 days interest free payment period

oh....it uses a points system too, dont know what the points go towards, but sounds good

I have it

But the store I shop at does not accept them yet. I guess you can only use them at A Bejamin Moore dealer.

Thanks Dan

I heard about these cards today from my retailer. Same thing, don't know when? I think its a great idea. I like the points. I bought half my xmas gifts this year on points.

talked to another retailer today, got more info: In addition to what we already know, this card would give you the same discount from any retailer you go to... This is good for the smaller retailers, but no so good for the big retailers, that were luering you in with price. Sort of makes the ma and pa shops, seem more like a franchise, like some of thier competition....

I still like the idea.

...am wondering however, what the interest rate is with this card, vs, what the retailer was charging?

The interest rate is where they zap you most often. I have dumped all of my CC's for my version, Cash and Carry.
