Block This... more pics

Same house as I mentioned earlier. Here's the kitchen. We all just crave that baby-blue color, right?

Upstairs bath. Canary yellow. Must have been a fad way back when...

First bedroom. Puke green. You can see I started cutting in the oil primer when this photo was taken.

Second bedroom. Slate blue. The previous HO thought he was doing someone a favor by "patching" all the cracks and holes with mud. Leaves more work for me.

I don't think I've ever seen paneling on a ceiling before. I like the reverse baseboard crown molding though... NOT!

That canary yellow with blue fixtures makes for a pretty sight... pretty ugly!

The old man's family had lots of stories to tell... about what he did to the place and why he did it. The panaling had a story all its own. There's a few items on the exterior that leads one to wonder...

I've been working at the puke green room off and on over the past few days. Even with a quality oil primer, its gonna take two topcoats. I could slide with 1 coat since its a rental, but all it takes is that awkward angle of natural light that tells me its gotta have two coats.

That yellow is gonna be interesting to cover, too.
