Bidding Help!
I'm trying to figure out an estimate for spraying trim in a remodel. The base board is about 4" high and there is a molding on the top of the base board and a 1/4 round molding on the bottom of it. My process will be: prepping of the area (rosin the wood floor/plastic any windows etc. from overspray) fill the nail holes, caulk, prime, sand and use an oil enamel. My application method will be spraying one coat of primer and 2-3 coats of enamel (by the way how many coats of enamel do you guys apply?). I'm also going to stain and seal some cherry doors. What is the average linear foot price that you would charge for trim and what what would you charge for doors (just the door not the casing)? Thanks, Joel

Re: Bidding Help!
I prefer to prime first, then fill holes, sand and then first coat. Caulk and finish coat. Sometimes I will caulk prior to first coat. But I dont like to caulk, then have sanding to do. Just my way. I start off at $4 a lin ft for trim/baseboards and $150 for doors (6 panel)
