Re: Bid Help

I take it all as a compliment, its cool. Its nice to be reminded of how hot she is, being that shes 6 months pregnant now. It goes from having a really hot, drinking buddy wife to ManBearPig barging in the room threatening to eat me if I dont make grilled cheese sandwiches. I feel like a fu$%ing line cook.

Re: Bid Help

Hey WP,
My craigslist add has been up and running for 4 days. I have stolen 2 deposits already and am working on a third. I think someone (you) owes a fellow expert painter (me) an apology.

Congrats.

Those craiglist jobs will be your hardest. They will want the sky for the smallest amount of money. If you can make it out of those jobs intact the only way is up from there

Just give the kid his apology Wise, then you kind find something else to ride his ass about.

Re: Bid Help

I did think he was serious. I would think Craiglist would be a good starting point for a begining painter.

You need to tone down the macho. You got me confused

Re: Bid Help

No hard feelings WP.... You dont need to apologize, its cool, I get it. I looked at one job my brother-in-law got from craigslist, cause he has never painted, just builds stuff. It was a foyer with 16 foot high ceilings and hallway/stairs (almost like the one you have pics of WP. Beaver house I think). Guy had semigloss Behr that he wanted on the walls and ceiling, bitching about 1 roller mark the whole time (existing). I wanted no part of it and told him $1,500. He said, "Thanks but I found someone to do it for $250"

See if you were a pro painter you could of sold him on the 1500.00 and let him know how you were going to fix that ugly roller mark for him.
