Re: Benjamin Moore / Aura Paint

I have the pleasure to use the $65.00 @ gal. paint in an upscale area near me every once in a while.

One thing to remember is that Benny Moore sells a special sleeve for it.

If you refuse to use it , the Aura runs down the wall like a horserace.

It has the most pigment in it than any other coating I know. Primers incl..

But, how much more can you mark it up profitability wise?

Overall , it's tops. Read Can Before tooling.

Re: Benjamin Moore / Aura Paint

We've been using on occasion. All in all it's very well behaved, dry time is fast, 1 hour or less.

I covered dark brown walls with diamond white. The roller covered with one coat, but the cutting in didn't. We did a second coat and you couldn't tell the brown was ever there.

I can see where it serves a definite purpose and could save a lot of time on certain jobs.

A friend of mine here in Louisville that owns a large painting co. and I went and looked at three large exterior jobs he was doing. All of them were Aura jobs and all of them were 1 coat repaints. They were beautiful. One coat of Aura was covering fine and looking good.

I've never seen anything cover quite like it does.

Oh! And also there's very little to zero roller spattering. It's almost like glue the way it hangs on
