Re: Anything To Be Aware Of
Aura drys quick
Don't leave that brush out during lunch...it'll be a spatula Regal Matte, you can load it up thick as thieves Aura...not so much If Aura is sagging, you are going on too thick You can't load it up like Regal Matte If Aura is pulling, dragging or lifting, you are over-brushing/-rolling or going too slow Regal Matte still works best to cutawall, rollawall Aura you're better off cutting the room, rolling the room (unless it's pretty small and you are pretty fast) Don't worry about keeping touch-ups on holidays in the wet with Aura You can go back later and even the eggshell touches up like a pat of butter on a hot baked potato In fact, since it dries so fast, you could pull/drag, so you are better off waiting and touching up later

Re: Anything To Be Aware Of
thanks for your informative answer, what about when your speckling little holes or the like do you still have to spot prime either product.

Re: Anything To Be Aware Of
Nail holes with lightweight latex spackle, no
Wouldn't hurt to slap a little on the spots while you are cutting in But if you forget, it won't be an issue Joint compound repairs Regal Matte yes, you should prime Aura eggshell no need per say, but I'd hit the joint compound repair areas with a spot coat (like a spot prime) of Aura just for insurance against possible flashing

Re: Anything To Be Aware Of
Well just to let you all know how I got on with the 2 products ( b/m regal and aura
The regal was standard as per application and the aura dried quicker but did not find anything else to worry about oh and yes it was easy to touch up without flashing, and it did not require to be spot primed after speckling. I also used a 1/2 nap sleeve due to the levelling qualities of the product. Best Regards D/B |
