Anyone try these rollers

I know some of you guys are rolling your eyes now. haha.

Ya I'm back to lambskin after using 50/50s and the string rollers.

I saw this new one in APC magazine.

Viodel Roller Cover 9" Its made for low-VOC paints, made not to matt down (my only complaint about lambskin) and to have great pickup and release.

Anyone use these?

Ive used one once. It is a good roller to use if you only have two bucks to spend.

I think you meant the following
http://www.thepaintstore.com/Pro_Lin...er_9_p/afl.htm

Viodel is not a lamb skin roller, its a typical poly roller similar to a wooster super fab. I use the glossdel lintless which for the price is a good roller as it is similar to a wooster super doo-z.

it was the purple ones in the magazine, APM.

Anyways it seems like all lambskin will always matt down randomly. It just really annoying cause you can't spread paint worth crap.

I know a lot guys swear by lambswool personally I think it may have its place, but I prefer a shed resist lintless roller myself. I do tho like the 50/50 for outside if I am doing rougher stuff like cedar siding, but always back brush after rolling.

Oh boy !! I've never seeen a roller cost that much! Sorry for the dumb question, but do you throw it away after one use???
I'd make sure that baby is with me for at least 6 months . I've seen the brushes that cost $175 for the 1 1/4", but not $95 retail for a brush!! I have got to get out more.

Ox-hair brushes sell for that much. Due to the physical properties of the hair, when paint is applied, the paint doesn't apply with the typical brush "strokes." It looks like it was rolled on. Learned it at the IUPAT training school in cincy, ohio. The price sky-rockets up to $300 - $350 for a standard 2 1/2" or 3" brush. My jaw hit the floor when I heard that.

sorry metomeya. We were instructed as such by "pros" having painted 20-25+ years. I personally am not a "professional" painter although have attended the app. school in cincy for finishers/painters.
