Re: Any Takers?

I interviewed at the Cleveland CertaPro for the commercial sales position. They have a good setup and make some money, not sure about their subs.

I have been in the painting industry for a wile and when I noticed their subcontractor board in their office i knew 5 of the 12 subs they use. a couple of the guys are bad painters and i am sure they are cheap.

If you can negotiate a good price with them why wouldnt you do the work? They are a national franchise and it costs a lot to buy a territory so you know they are making 20% to 30% on you.

I wouldn't make them 100% of your business. if you do it try to keep them at 50% or less of your total business. You know the old saying "dont put all your eggs in one basket"

Plus, you will be able to relax in the evening since they will be doing your marketing and estimating for you.

I say do it if you are happy with the contract amounts they want to pay.
