Re: Another Question About Quality.
A small amount of people like it, but most of the people forget it even exists. - Around here that is.
Also only a few people carry it - also around here that is. |

Re: Another Question About Quality.
Pratt & Lambert is awesome paint. It's a big name in the painting industry - and even though Sherwin acquired them - Sherwin does not make P&L paint - P&L is still it's own company. Now I won't say there hasn't been some management from the top pressuring them to make accolade slightly more competitive by using cheaper resins - but what do you expect?

Re: Another Question About Quality.
I use P&L here in Chicago and have always loved it. It is harder to find now that SW aquired them. They do make interior stain and varnishes which have been used by painters for hell probably 100 yrs. They are an old school paint name around here.

Re: Another Question About Quality.
How do these prices look? It better be pretty good to justify being in the 30 dollar range.
Aqua Matte Eggshell Gallon @ $30 Pro-Hide Gold Semi-Gloss Gallon @ $19 Redseal Semi-Gloss Gallon @ $33 Vapex Flat Gallon @ $25 |

Pro-Hide Gold Semi-Gloss Gallon @ $19 Don't use Pro Hide line Redseal Semi-Gloss Gallon @ $33 I pay $27 redseal Satin Vapex Flat Gallon @ $25 - I pay $19 I think its a better bang for your buck then the regal line. I know a lot of you guys out there are SW guys I can not compare to their products as I do not use them. Last edited by MakDeco; 02-13-2007 at 02:33 PM. Reason: spelling |
