Another airless question?

I've been watching for a good deal on a used airless. Now, I have an opportunity to buy a Graco 1095 in good condition at a great price.

This is certainly more machine than I need, but about the same money as smaller pumps I've found. Other than weight , is there a down side to this kind of overkill? Or should I grab it?

Thanks....

Gary

I was recently in the market and was thinking small at first then considered that the smaller ones would have trouble pushing some of the thicker primer and paints. You can also add more hose to the larger pumps so you're not having to move the pump all the time.

I say go for it.

Always buy the biggest pump that you can afford. You will be much happier in the long run. Check out e-bay. They tend to have lots of big good sprayers.

The 1095 is a great pump, it can be turned down like a 695 for finer finishes, then cranked back up for serious out put. I recommend the bigger pump, you will thank yourself later without a doubt.
