Airless Sprayer

I just bought a Wagner airless for that new paint project. Never had one. It's the model called Widespray. I thought about it pretty darn carefully before I bought it, I wanted to eliminate air setup from time to time. I used it a little last night and outside of being heavy and noisy it does a real nice job.

What do ya think fellas?

Re: Airless Sprayer

It's called a wide shot, sorry. The damn thing was a pain in the a$$ all morning, so I shot about two gals of water threw it and it straightened right up. I cleaned it good last night, can't figure, but It was nice not to drag a hose.

Re: Airless Sprayer

Got one
It gets out of the case a few times a year
Usually when I have some odd trim or cabinet doors at the workshop that need paint quickly and quality is not a priority
...tends to spit a bit
Comes in handy sometimes

Re: Airless Sprayer

Thats a shame about the Wagner, giving you a hard time already.
If I had known, I could have hooked you up with my old Binks SuperBee.
Runs like a top, and just sitting collecting dust in the shop.

Re: Airless Sprayer

Just a thought, but I would suggest you keep a nice airless sprayer around. In case more painting work is sent your way. I don't know if we can make suggestions on name brand sprayers but I really love my Graco 395, old one but a real work horse, it keeps going and going and going. Call around pawn shops and find one for around 300.00, depending on the condition and age.

(strange typing sound) "Around the world, across the nation, and UP YOUR STREET. It's The Airless Sprayer Update! (strange sound stops)

I used the Wagner wide shot again yesterday, man guys, I'll tell ya, I really like that thing, outside of being a little heavy it lays down a nice coat and cleans up quick.
