Acrylic latex problem

I've been painting for 40 years, but somehow never used acrylic latex interior wall paint. At homeowners request, I'm applying "Crayola" colored acrylic latex paint in a playhouse. Man, this stuff is hard to work: skims over, hard to feather and solids appear to separate as it dries, leaving a dark/light appearance.

Any tricks to using this stuff. Any advice much appreciated as this job is under way.

Regards, Bob

Wow...I thought that stuff was discontinued as it's complete crap
Maybe it was my favorite paint store that disco'd it...but I'm pretty sure it was because it was complete crap

Regardless....
My best suggestion would be to have BM tint some Aura (I'm assuming the colors and low VOC and high washabilty are important to these H/Os) to the colors you need
They should have them on file

Well, I returned the other gallon, the guy at Menards suggested my primer was the problem; but I've never had a problem with priming and I bought the primer from Menards. Never again - It's nothing but Ben Moore and never acrylic latex for wall board!
